Beating the summer heat!
Swimming is not only a great way to cool off in this weather, but also great low impact exercise for your dog! Use caution and keep an eye on your dog’s water intake, especially when swimming in salt water. Salt water will quickly dehydrate your dog, which can result in a medical emergency. While too much fresh water can also cause major issues. A good rule of thumb is to keep swimming sessions to about 20 minutes each!
Happy splashing and enjoy!
